Jaime Hagel

I was first introduced to Open Dharma in 2008. My friend lent me a CD filled with talks and meditations from previous retreats, and I was immediately transported into the world of Deep Rest, Metta meditation, and the Dharma, like I'd never heard it before. That CD became a lifeline as I listened to it for over three months until my first in-person retreat in 2009. Since then, I've been lucky to rest and learn from Jaya and the Open Dharma community both online and in-person, as well as helping with organisation since 2016.  My roles have ranged from offering hands-on event support to financial advisory work, and I now serve as a member of the Board of Directors.
