"Wake up!" I shouted.

My writing has been deeply threaded into my life and
practice. It has been one way of illuminating what is within and around me - the grace and the grit! I once described my pen like a little torch, lighting up the hidden corners.
It has helped me to accept difficulty - to see that beauty can be found in unexpected places.
Writing has, at times, been a tool of discernment - to see that there are often wider cultural forces that propel us into suffering. Writing has helped me broaden my lense.

I like moments of openings, moments when we unexpectadely feel an elegance, a voice not swallowed but speaking out.
I think about the green voice, the heartfelt voice that open to heal, to love again, to not believe in the warped ways we can view ourselves, those moments of illumination - 'no it doesn't have to be like this.'
