I try to help others tell their stories...

I make independent documentaries about democracy, peace building, and human rights issues for television and radio. I recently finished filming a piece about political disappearances in northeastern Sri Lanka. I'm now working on a film about how people in Nepal are surviving the ten-year civil war between Maoist rebels and state security forces.

I found my way into making documentaries after searching for a way to combine 'mind, body, and speach' in my creative work. I try to help others tell their stories, rather than function as a storyteller myself. The best part of the work is watching each story take on a life of its own.
