New Leaf project
This web-page will soon enable you to buy an individual tree or collection of trees to help reforest the holy mountain of Arunachala in South India, while simultaneously supporting the Open Centre. The cost of the trees covers all the practical expenses of planting and caring for them in India, we add a little extra so that it also raises money to help purchase some of the forest at the Open Centre.
We can be a part of creating a healthier, more sustainable and better connected world.

Celebrate the birth of a baby with the planting of a tree, so they may grow up together, supporting each other connected by their breath across continents. Or mark a wedding, anniversary or special day with the celebration spirit of a new tree, rooted in the happy event and branching out into the future.
We can also invite the steady supportive presence of trees when a sad event happens in our life like the passing of a loved one. Leaning back against the strong trunk of a tree, grounding ourselves and re-connecting with the earth is a powerful healing process. Planting a new tree is a beautiful way to honor a life well lived which allows life to continue blossoming.
"The true meaning of life is to plant trees under whose shade you do not plan to sit"
(Nelson Henderson)
Off-setting our carbon means planting trees to balance the amount of pollution we cause in our daily life.
We are all becoming increasingly aware of the impact that modern life is having on our planet's resources. Two of the primary contributors to global warming are the burning of fossil fuels and the cutting down of forests. We can be part of an alternative cycle that is re-energising the planet and reforesting our world.
"The best time to plant a tree is ten years ago, the next best time is now"
(Chinese proverb)
a better future by off-setting your carbon.
